Behold your fully baked wake-up call: double-strong, medium-roasted coffee that gets you out of your skull and into the daily grind. A latte is simply steamed and frothed milk mixed into strong coffee. This Blue and Buried Latte Recipe will send you on a morning trip to the blueberry patch. With natural flavors of blueberries, vanilla and coffee, this latte is a true death-by-decadence experience. A heavy hitter brewed hot or over ice—this latte will blue you away.

Blue and Buried Latte Equipment:

  • Small saucepan
  • Whisk or mason jar
  • Coffee maker
  • Large coffee mug
  • For an iced latte, you’ll need ice and a mason jar (Grim Reaper Pro Tip: Use coffee ice cubes so your iced latte doesn’t get watered down.)

Blue and Buried Latte Ingredients:

Iced Blue and Buried Latte Instructions:

    1. Brew coffee using Death Wish Blue and Buried Coffee to make 1 1/3 cup freshly brewed coffee.
    2. Heat milk or plant-based coffee creamer in a saucepan set over medium-low heat. Whisk briskly with a wire whisk to create foam. Bonus: to make your milk blue, add a pinch of spirulina powder to your milk.
    3. Fill a glass or mason jar with ice (better yet, coffee iced cubes).
    4. Pour the freshly brewed Blue and Buried Coffee into the ice-filled glass.
    5. Bury your blues in blueberries by adding 1-2 teaspoons of homemade blueberry syrup and stir to combine (directions below).
    6. Add milk from the pan into the mug of coffee, holding back the foam with a spoon.
    7. Dollop the frothy milk on top of the drink.
    8. Enjoy until you’re blue in the face!
