Ah, the Peppermint Mocha Martini—a drink for those who want the festive vibes of the holiday season but also need a little liquid courage to deal with it. Is it dessert? Is it a cocktail? Who cares? It’s chocolate, coffee, peppermint, and booze in a glass. This is the drink you make when you want to impress your friends with your "fancy mixology skills" but really just want to throw a few things in a shaker and call it a day.

Cheers to holiday multitasking—you're nailing it!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Death Wish Peppermint Mocha, slightly cooled
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce Creme de menthe
  • For the rim: equal parts finely ground coffee beans and candy canes.

Directions:

  1. Make the coffee using your favorite brewing method (pour over with a Chemex, Keurig with single-serve cups, coffee maker or other).
  2. Wet the rim of the cocktail glass and place the ground coffee beans and crushed candy cane together on a plate. Tilt the rim of the glass into the mixture until it fully coats the outer rim.
  3. Place two handfuls of ice into a cocktail shaker. Add the coffee, vodka, coffee liqueur and creme de menthe to the cocktail shaker. Shake until cold.
  4. Strain into the prepared cocktail glass and enjoy!

Yields: 1 drink (double ingredients for 2)
