Receive a Starbucks gift card you don't want? We'll exchange it.

It's inevitable — at least one loved one will give you a gift card that makes you think "Yep, they forgot about me." We aren't judging — okay, maybe we are a little bit. But that's only because people think Starbucks gift cards are a good gift. 

This year, we're noticing that people don't want their Starbucks gift cards — and what do you do with a gift card you don't want? Enter Death Wish Coffee: here to make sure you get some great tasting coffee this holiday season. 

Oh, did we mention we'll donate your original Starbucks gift card amount to a charity on your behalf? 

That's right — from now until January 9, 2024, mail in your Starbucks gift card to us. Not only will we give you a Death Wish Coffee gift card of equal amount (so if you have $25 to Starbucks, we'll give you $25 to Death Wish Coffee), but we'll donate your original gift card through this website — operated by a 501c3 — to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Full terms and conditions below: 

1. Death Wish Coffee Co. is inviting you to participate in our 2024 gift card exchange, happening Friday, December 22, 2023 through Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

2. To participate, mail in your valid Starbucks gift card with your name, phone number and email address to:

3. Limit of one mail-in gift card per customer. Starbucks gift card amount cannot exceed $100. 

4. Once we receive your Starbucks gift card, we will replace the monetary value with a digital gift card to deathwishcoffee.com. Additionally, we will donate your original gift card value to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
   

5. Your replacement deathwishcoffee.com gift card will be sent via email by March 1, 2024. 
   

6. Your Death Wish Coffee digital gift card is only valid on deathwishcoffee.com. It cannot be redeemed on Amazon or in retail locations.

7. Starbucks gift card must have a valid monetary amount. Any gift card that has been depleted will not be given a replacement Death Wish Coffee card. 

8. Mail-in gift card must be postmarked between December 22, 2023 and January 9 2024. Consumer is responsible for cost to mail in gift card. Any gift cards received after January 9, 2024 will be donated.

9. Eligibility: This contest is only open to legal residents of, and residing in, the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia.  Death Wish Coffee Co. Employees, friends and family members are not eligible to enter.  

10. Death Wish Coffee reserves the right, to be exercised in Death Wish Coffee’s sole discretion, to reject or disqualify any entries if Death Wish Coffee has reason to believe that they reflect efforts by anyone to unfairly or improperly manipulate the outcome of the exchange.

11. Technical Difficulties/Support: Death Wish Coffee cannot be responsible for entries not received due to technical issues and accepts no responsibility for technical support of any entries.  

12. Death Wish Coffee reserves the right, to be exercised in Death Wish Coffee’s sole discretion, to adjust these rules without notifying participants.
