How to Whitelist an Email Address
Email providers like Gmail and Yahoo work hard to ensure scams and spam don’t make their way into your inbox, but in their attempts to be cautious—these providers sometimes suppress emails you WANT to receive. Ya know, like ours.
Ensure you never miss a mug-drop, new release or little ditty of any kind coming from Death Wish Coffee Co. Follow the simple instructions below to whitelist our content + ensure it doesn’t get lost in the sauce of your spam folder.
Gmail
Create a filter for hey@deathwishcoffee.com
- Click the cog icon in the top-right corner, and then Settings.
- Click on Filters and then Create a New Filter.
- Enter the domain of the email you want to keep out of spam.
- Click Create Filter With This Search.
- Make the selection to Never Send messages matching this search to spam.
- Click the Create Filter button.
Yahoo!
Create a filter for hey@deathwishcoffee.com
- Hover over the Settings icon and select, you guessed it—Settings.
- Click Filters, then Add.
- Enter a Filter Name.
- Add hey@deathwishcoffee.com.
- Select Inbox as the destination for emails coming from our address.
- Click Save. Then click that sh*t again.
Outlook
Add hey@deathwishcoffee.com to your Safe Senders list
- Click the cog icon in the top-right corner and then More in mail settings.
- Select Safe and Blocked Senders and then Safe Senders.
- If you're not seeing this option, search Safe Senders in the search bar of your settings tab.
- Add hey@deathwishcoffee.com to the list of Safe Senders.
- Return to Safe and Blocked Senders and then select Safe Mailing Lists.
