PREVIEW:
This week is all about changes. Some of the segments are moved around on the show, with the promise of some new ones in the works. On Science, NASA recently revamped their searchable database of all images and videos going all the way back to 1958. It is an incredible resource, and a fun thing to fall into if you find yourself bored on the internet. The Community Shoutout is changing, and this one highlights the Death Wish Facebook Community and its wonderful admins. Star Wars and the hilarious knock-off toys are the topics on The Roast, and new and upcoming products are revealed on The Update with a very special guest from the World's Strongest Coffee Company.
Come with us on our recent adventure on the Salty Dog Cruise. Death Wish Coffee was a proud sponsor of the cruise this year. We try to show you everything you might experience on this yearly punk rock cruise, but we quickly learned there is more to do than hours in the day! Plus, we talked with some of the people directly involved including our own contest winner Aimie Dixon, an amateur mixologist Scott Keys, singer-songwriter Beans on Toast, Steve Diggle from the iconic punk band Buzzcocks, and Dave, Dennis and Bob from the band that put the whole thing together, Flogging Molly.
Go back and listen to Dennis and Matt from Flogging Molly on Episode 50, where they tell us for the first time about the Salty Dog Cruise.
