Death Wish Coffee + Music
Music—much like coffee—fuels us to grind it out every day here at Death Wish Coffee Company. We are very passionate about our musical preferences, and we are constantly sharing our favorite songs and bands around the office or through our virtual meetups. In fact, many Death Wish Coffee employees are musicians in varying degrees of skill, and more than a few bands have members who also work for the World’s Strongest Coffee. Music is in our blood, and that is why we couldn’t be more excited to develop our own music performance series, Coffee Notes.

What Is Coffee Notes?
Coffee Notes is an iconic, unplugged and unscripted performance featuring Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger from Grammy-winning hard rock band Halestorm.
The 30-minute video, directed by Robb Fenn, gives an exclusive look at Halestorm performing some of their hit songs, including their most recent #1 rock single “Back from the Dead,” RIAA-certified Platinum song “I Miss the Misery,” and more, as well as a solo performance of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” by Lzzy on piano. The performance also includes special anecdotes and stories about Lzzy and Joe’s experiences in the music industry, as well as the meaning behind some of their biggest songs.
Halestorm is an incredible rock band that we have wanted to work with for some time. They are known for their relentless, non-stop touring throughout their career, and that speaks to us as people who are passionate about what do. Lzzy is a unique singer and songwriter, so to have the opportunity to hear her, along with guitarist Joe Hottinger, open up with stories about what inspires the music they create is a rare treat we wanted to share with the world.
Want to Win a Free Guitar?
Fans who access the video will be automatically entered into a giveaway to win a signed Epiphone EJ-200ce guitar by Lzzy and Joe. Lzzy was recently announced as Gibson's first female ambassador in July 2021, joining the likes of Slash, Jerry Cantrell, Jared James Nichols and Dave Mustaine, amongst others.
"We're thrilled to release Coffee Notes, featuring the amazing band Halestorm, to kick off our 10-year brand anniversary, as this is exactly the kind of artist-celebrated content that we want to offer our devoted Death Wish Coffee fans," said Mike Pilkington, CEO of Death Wish Coffee Co.
