Happy Mother's Day weekend, coffee-drinking moms! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a fresh cup of joe. Whether you're a mom, a stepmom, a grandmother, or a guardian, thank you for everything you do.

It takes a strong woman (and a strong cup of coffee) to do what you do. We asked moms on our social media pages why they drink coffee — here are some of our favorite answers.

"Because in 11 days my youngest of four boys will be 18. I didn't get here because of my Mary Poppins personality." -Colleen C.

Being a mom is definitely not always supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

"I am a single parent with an 11-year-old, a 4-year-old and I am a full time student. Coffee is my best friend and life partner." -Alma G.

Who else do you know besides a mom that can handle hours of homework, kids, and everything else in between? You go, mom.

"Because my eyes don't open without it, and parenting with closed eyes is frowned upon by society." -Christina P.

Rest your eyes for a minute — take a coffee nap. You deserve it.

"Because twins. Not even two years old." -Amy L.

The only thing more challenging than one crying baby is two crying babies.

"Because without coffee, us moms would most likely get nothing done."

After that first sip of coffee, you're basically Wonder Woman.

"Because whiskey for breakfast, brunch, and lunch is frowned upon."
-Coreen B.
