Friendship, Love, and Loyalty Go A Long Way
Founded in 2009 by band front-man Ken Casey, The Claddagh Fund is a charitable foundation for The Dropkick Murphys that honors the three attributes to the Claddagh ring: friendship, love and loyalty.
Their mission is to improve the lives of suffering individuals, enabling them with the support and tools necessary to enhance their quality of life along with the lives of the children of their families. The Claddagh Fund focuses on:
- Aiding victims of terrible events
- Veteran causes
- Families of deceased soldiers
- Alcohol and drug recovery programs
- Relief of the underprivileged
This charity is able to reach the community in such a way that truly supports the vulnerable populations in our communities.
