At Death Wish, we have a lot to be thankful for — for growing our company each and every day, for being able to produce amazing products and merchandise, for interacting with amazing customers who push us to be our best, and for the weekly snack box that fuels that 3 p.m. snack hour.
The list goes on and on, so we wanted to ask our employees what they're thankful for this holiday season.
From all of us here from Death Wish Coffee Company, Happy Thanksgiving!
"I am thankful for the people in my life. Specifically my girlfriend, family, and friends for being so understanding of the time I dedicate to Death Wish Coffee and always making time for me when I’m not working; my Death Wish Coffee team for making work fun, not excepting mediocrity, and giving a little extra every day; I’m especially thankful for our customers and Death Wish Coffee community. Especially those who took a chance on us early on. Getting the first customers are the hardest and I feel very grateful that you found us told others, and helped Death Wish Coffee survive the early years." -Mike Brown, Owner and Founder
"I'm thankful to be able to call the people I work with every day my dear friends and that those friends always make me laugh and appreciate lunch as much as I do. I'm thankful for our snack box even when it comes a day late. I'm also thankful for Mike Mullin for making coffee every morning!" -Sierra Meisser, Online Reputation Manager
"I'm thankful for a new day today. I’m thankful that it’s different from every day before it and every one to come. That no matter how hard or easy each one seems, the one without the other would make them all the same, and that takes the wonder out of living." -Thomas Dragonette, Art Director
"I'm thankful that I was able to join such an amazing company this year that really feels like home. I get to spend every day with the smartest coworkers and friends who motivate me to do my very best. And, of course, thank you to our amazing Death Wish community who took me in as one of their own from day one! Special shoutout to fellow Ravenclaw Jeff Ayers for always being down to talk about Game of Thrones and Harry Potter." -Shannon Sweeney, Content Manager
