This robot is about to take over the coffee world

You just got served...by a robot barista
In a world of daily technological advances, it's no surprise that new technology is making its way behind the counter of your coffee shop. At a cafe in Tokyo, a robot named Sawyer can make coffee drinks for multiple customers at a time---and he might be more experienced than any human barista before him.

Sawyer greets every customer he meets. After you've entered your order into a computer at the counter, he grinds your coffee fresh and makes a pour-over better than any other robot barista you've ever met. This robot can even take up to five orders at once---so, talk about multi-tasking. The entire interaction from start to receiving your drink takes about four minutes, and at about $3 for a latte, it's pretty affordable, too.
Before you scoff at the loss of human interaction and robots taking over the world, think about it---who wants to have to conversate before they've had coffee anyway?
