Riki's Ride raises over $29,000 for
Stop Soldier Suicide
Riki Rachtman and Lea Vendetta have spent months traveling on a motorcycle across the United States through crazy heat, rain, and snow with one mission — to raise money for Stop Soldier Suicide. Their ride has finally come to close just in time for the holiday season.
To say this ride was a success would be an understatement. Riki and Lea went into this year's ride with a goal of raising $22,000 — which signifies the 22 veterans who die by suicide every day.
And 14,656 miles later, Riki's Ride has already raised $29,000 and they're still counting! All money raised goes directly toward Stop Soldier Suicide, an organization that provides mental health counseling, housing assistance, emergency financial ad, alternative therapies, and more to veterans across the United States.
We've been a proud sponsor of Riki's Ride for years, and we loved playing a role in his ride this year. We helped Riki plan events in Alabama, Michigan, and more, called Death Wish Coffee Fuel Stops, where Riki could drink coffee with local citizens who care about the cause or have a personal connection to soldier suicide.
Riki is hosting a check presentation party on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. in North Carolina to present the final fundraising total — you can find more information on how to attend that event here.
Congrats on another successful ride, Riki and Lea!
