One teacher in Michigan is getting creative with online learning

Students that are at home finishing their classes online, or parents that are at home teaching school-aged children know this better than the rest of us. While the world is in chaos, they're trying to keep things going as if they're still in the classroom, but it’s hard to be creative and engaging through remote learning. One teacher in Riverview, Michigan is giving his students a math lesson with Death Wish Coffee.

Kris Meeks is a teacher at Seitz Junior High teaching 7th grade math, and has come up with creative ways to keep his students engaged. (Think of Kenny, the gentle kindergarten teacher from the movie Half Baked, but minus the getting arrested part for accidentally killing a diabetic police horse by feeding it junk food.)

What are you doing to keep school-aged kids engaged through online learning? Let us know, and check out Kris's attempt  it might spark some ideas.
