Swedish couple blasts Iron Maiden too loud because why wouldn't they?
Sometimes there are news stories that are just too good not to share. So when we saw this news story being posted around the interweb, we knew we had to share it with you. Why? Because besides coffee, the greatest joy in life is blasting heavy metal all night long.
An elderly Swedish couple who live in a quiet retirement community are being sued for the most badass reason ever — they've been blasting Iron Maiden too loud. Is there really a possibility of blasting Iron Maiden too loud?
According to Aftonbladet, a Swedish news outlet, the couple was blasting Iron Maiden to get back at their new neighbors. Apparently their neighbors' private life was a little too loud, if you're picking up what I'm putting down.
The drama started last October when the new neighbors arrived, and the elderly couple finally hit their boiling point.
And what's best way to seek revenge while also relieving month's worth of rage? To blast Iron Maiden on their stereo.
We're not just talking a little noise violation — the 81-year-old and the 71-year-old were playing music so loud that police had to use force entry to get into the house while "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" was blaring.
Police charged the couple with harassment but eventually dropped the lawsuit, according to reports.
