Nimbus Coffee is "a place for wizards, witches, and muggles alike"

I need to apparate to Los Angeles ASAP. A permanent Harry Potter-themed coffee shop recently opened in downtown LA, and it's just as magical as you can imagine.

Nimbus Coffee, named after Harry Potter's original broomstick (the Nimbus 2000), is not an official Harry Potter property, but it honors author JK Rowling's iconic series. It doesn't disappoint.

The decor includes Harry Potter-styled trunks, fan artwork of the series, footprints from the Marauder's Map, wands that look like they're right out of Ollivanders, and even neon light that says "Levizzle," which is a nod to "Wingardium Leviosa," a spell often mentioned in the series.

The menu includes straightforward coffee options, but you can get some fun Harry Potter-inspired ones, too, obviously — their potion makers will make drinks  Strawberry Veritas, Accio Matcha, and Giggle Waters.

Nimbus Coffee is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. It's located at 1115 S. Hope Street in Los Angeles.
