What is caffeine withdrawal? Is that even a real thing? Unfortunately, it's not in your head, it's a full fledged issue for those who can't get that daily cup. There are ways, however, that you can stave off the dreaded effects of this chemical reaction, and never suffer from a caffeine deficiency again. 

Drink a cup of coffee early

Set the coffee pot, get the Chemex ready, whatever you need to do, just make sure you grab a cup before you go to stave off headaches or grogginess. 

Pace yourself

I know this is hard to hear, but take your time with coffee. Enjoy it. Spread it out throughout your day, instead of chugging it all in one sitting and then experiencing the dreaded withdrawal around 2pm. 

Drink water 

I know, why drink water when you can drink more coffee. IS THERE REALLY ANY MORE ROOM?! But seriously, drinking a little bit of H2O will keep headaches at bay, giving you the opportunity to drink coffee.
