Death Wish sponsoring car in Zippo 200 at the Glen

It's no secret that NASCAR is a big deal to us. So when we were given the opportunity to sponsor another car, we had to take it. This weekend, Death Wish Coffee will be the proud sponsor of AJ Allmendinger's car as part of the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The race is on Saturday, August 3 at the Zippo 200 at the Glen in Watkins Glen, New York

Allmendinger made an announcement last month in a video from Kaulig Racing about joining the race, and we're so pumped to be a sponsor. This race will be Allmendinger's second race of the season driving for Kaulig Racing.

Allmendinger won a Cup Series victory at the Watkins Glen International in 2014. He's an experienced road course racer and has experience competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the NTT IndyCar Series, in addition to years of competing in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Last year was his first race for the Xfinity Series, where he drove for GMS Racing and ended in second place.

This isn't our first time sponsoring NASCAR — we’ve previously sponsored NASCAR Drivers Ty Dillon and Daniel Hemric. We were the primary sponsor of the #95 car driven by Dillon when he was in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series race at the Dover International Speedway in 2016.

Some of our team will be at the race this weekend at Watkins Glen, so if you're going to the race, come and say hi!
