Death Wish Coffee Company is made up of a small but growing team. We want to take you inside our headquarters and introduce you to some of the team members that make it all come together.
In the two years that Caid Tuller has been with our company, he's quickly become the go-to person for all questions Death Wish related. While many know him as the friendly face they can always count on to get their problems solved, our team relies on him to keep us in touch with the community. Outside of being a Death Wish shots challenge winner, Caid is also a pretty mean rock, paper, scissors player around the office.
How long have you been working with Death Wish and what do you do here?
I started with DWCC on a warm September day in 2015 and I'm the Customer Service Trainer. Basically, I make the sure that the Customer Service team is on the same page with how we interact with the community.
What have you learned about the coffee industry yet?
I've learned how important coffee actually is. It's not just an AM beverage, it's life's blood!
What does a typical day look like for you? How much coffee do you drink?
I fill up my Klean Kanteen before I leave my house, and by the time I get to work I'm adamant about getting another cup brewing. While it brews, I set up shop at my desk and get ready to dive into email abyss. My day is broken up by answering direct email and messages, as well as handling Amazon reviews and interaction. Chat with the team a bit, smash a few ping pong balls, rinse and repeat.
What do you do for fun?
It's crick fishing season! Now that snow-free weather has arrived, you can find me usually walking along a muddy bank rippin' lip! (that's fishing for you city folk). I'm also pretty invested in my GTI MK6. GO FAST!
What’s something that goes on at HQ that people would be surprised to learn?
I'm a rock, paper, scissors Jedi. Challenge me, put something good on the line and pay attention. Just ask Kane, he can't stand it!
