Top 3 Last Minute Coffee Gifts that Cost Next to Nothing
By Teah Teriele — / Death Wish Coffee Blog
So it's down to the wire. December 18th is the last day to order anything online guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. Perhaps you've bought all that you can afford, but you still want to do something special. Here are a few ideas!
1. Frame the Coffee Taster's Flavor Wheel
Counter Culture's Taster's Flavor wheel is my favorite of all. Because of the already imperfect feel of this wheel, it'll look great coming out of the printer regardless of quality. Put it into any frame that you may have laying around. There are so many colors in this piece that pretty much any color frame will go nicely.
2. Make Coffee Soap
This is especially perfect if you have some leftover beans/grinds that are a bit dated. You can even use extra soap that you may have, without having to buy the soap base. If you're feeling even more frugal, use ice cube trays for the soap molds. I recommend the recipe by Living Well Spending Less.
3. Sharpie Mugs
These mugs are a perfect gift because they can be completely personal. Simply draw on a ceramic mug with sharpie, let dry, then bake for thirty minutes at 350. Be sure to put the mug in the oven before the oven is preheated, and leave it in until they are fairly cool.
