The season of hiding packages from your significant other is upon us
By Angela Garrity, Guest blogger
We know that people love all things Death Wish Coffee, but how far are you willing to go to keep your purchases under wraps from your significant other? I’ve heard that bribing your postal worker or parcel delivery driver with cans of cold brew can go far and trunks of cars make great hiding spots, but I’m not confessing that I’ve actually done this. Some things just need to stay a secret, people.

ABC News shared the story of Ebony Freeman posting a photo on social media about how her UPS driver came to her aide in helping her hide unknown purchases she made from her husband by hiding a delivered package of AstroTurf under her doormat. Her doormat says, “Please hide packages from my husband.”
She captioned the photo with “Oh my god look! The UPS guy actually hid it under the rug!"
Her post went viral as everyone appreciated a postal worker with a sense of humor.
Freeman’s husband doesn’t “really” get upset about her online shopping, even though she confessed to Good Morning America that she has a package a day coming from Amazon, but instead thinks it's funny.
The holiday shopping season is officially underway, so please think of your carriers this season. They’re working long hours just to bring you those must-have purchases made from a simple click, all so you don’t have to stand in long lines with crying kids and coupon clipping Sally slowing things down. Take care of those who take care of you. Forgive that one time you had a crushed box, maybe? Everyone has bad days and postal workers are no exception here.
Just don’t expect to recruit their help for any doormats that ask for their help in hiding the bodies of those who pissed you off this Yuletide season. They likely won’t play along.
