We have officially entered Madness at the Core of Time because GWAR landed airtime and a socially distant interview on CNN.

In a recent article by Spin, the band tells CNN how they’re handling the pandemic. Lead axe-man Pustulus Maximus caught up with CNN’s Rick Damigella in regard to the band’s status — and the answer was classic of what Habs expect out of the band during “GWARantine.”

“I don’t care. Oh, you care. Well, I mean, they’re doing stuff I guess,” Maximus said when asked on what his bandmates are up to. “Working on music. I’m not going to learn any of it.”

“I just think it’s a very opportune time to not have to talk to anyone,” the guitarist continued, adding that it’s an opportune time since labels and management aren’t calling.

Also, the rest of the band said that once this is over, they’re looking forward to killing you up close. I mean, what else should we expect from a band whose reputation was created on each member being an intergalactic f*ck up?
