We all know that coffee has numerous health benefits — it's packed with antioxidants, helps our brains function properly, and even helps curb depression. Combine those reasons with our high-quality organic and fair trade beans, and the Honest Weight Co-op is a perfect fit.
"We are committed to our food policy, which reflects buying practices for food and body aids with consideration towards moral and ethical production, environmental stewardship, healthy living, and safety," Honest Weight's statement of conscience says.
Death Wish Coffee fits in with Honest Weight's mission of providing more equitable, participatory and ecologically sustainable ways of living. Death Wish uses organic coffee beans because we're committed to preserving biodiversity, protecting natural resources, and avoiding the use of harmful GMOs. That, combined with our Fair Trade partnership, means farmers of our coffee get a livable wage and fair working conditions.
