31 Days of Halloween: Day 3: Graves

Welcome to 31 days of Halloween! Since Halloween is our favorite month, we've decided to showcase some of our favorite art, products, and more. Usually when people go crazy about a Holiday a month in advance, it's excessive. Halloween is the exception.

"Ever wonder what happens those old broken headstones? This is my job. I started working at the cemeteries in high school to make some extra cash, turned out I loved it. I have no background in this whatsoever. Im in college now which is perfect because most of the work is done in the summer anyway. It takes special knowledge which normal masonry does not cover." -Cemeterystoneman

Did you know?

There's a town in California- Colma, that is over 75% cemetery.  “We have 1,500 aboveground residents,” Mayor Helen Fisicaro said, “and 1.5 million underground.”

"For the first few decades, Colma’s residents were mainly gravediggers, flower growers and monument makers. But by the 1980s, other types of people and businesses were settling in next to the dead."
