Slay the Monster: NASCAR and Death Wish Coffee, together at last

Since our early beginnings, we've been lucky to have both friends and fans in the racing community. Earlier this year, a few of us from Death Wish Coffee were graciously given a tour of the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, by our good friend Riki Rachtman.

He taught us some amazing facts about NASCAR and how it all began: bootleggers transporting liquor as quickly as possible from city to city. Riki told us all about how cars are built, put us through a pit simulator, and told us stories about crashes and triumphant wins.

This tour turned Mike Brown's interest into full-on fandom. While enjoying live music by the country music all-star, friend, and NASCAR lover Tim Dugger at the Watkins Glen track,  it just seemed right to Mike to make the next step into the NASCAR community.

The Richard Childress Racing Association welcomed Mike as a friend, and Mike's appreciation for Ty Dillon made the sponsorship an easy choice.

“I’m really not a morning person, so I enjoy a cup of coffee to get me moving,” Dillon said. “Death Wish Coffee has mastered the blend of beans and its roasting process to produce the perfect cup. Now, they’re trying to spread the word about the ‘World’s Strongest Coffee."

Death Wish will be the primary sponsor on the #95 car driven by Ty Dillon in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Dover International Speedway on October 2.
